LPG tanks

Design of underground and aboveground LPG tanks

Tanks for storage of liquefied gas are designed as a horizontal cylindrical welded structure made of carbon steel, consisting of structural components and fixtures and measuring equipment:

  • jacket,
  • convex bottoms,
  • supporting legs,
  • connections to earthing,
  • transport brackets intended only for the transport of empty tank,
  • sleeves, welded to jacket with installed connectors.

Each tank has its Data Book including a list of all structural components and the other materials with their technical characteristics. The password includes detailed data with design dimensions, serial number and test results conforming meeting the technical conditions required by the relevant technical inspection authority.
